I grew up just over Sharp Top Mountain in the small town of Buchanan and have never strayed far, aside from a couple of years in Colorado. I worked in the fire apparatus industry for many years, building and testing aerial equipment, and traveling all over to train firefighters. During that time, God used a coworker to bring a prodigal home for good. Not long afterwards, a lifelong love of piano quickly led to a love of worship music. The Lord opened doors for over for 30 years to serve at Christian life International, Tree of Life Ministries, Living Waters, and Bedford Church of God playing keys, singing backup and leading. I have been married for twenty-six years to my wonderful wife Christina, and have two children, Ryan and Lydia.
It is hard to pick a favorite verse, as I have many – but one that stands out is Zephaniah 3:17, which says “The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with his love, He will rejoice over you with singing.”
My hobbies are playing piano, watching college football, old movies, and spending time with my family.
