I was raised in a Southern Baptist church and attended faithfully throughout my
childhood. But honestly, I was just playing church. It wasn’t until 1998 that the Lord truly got hold of my heart and everything changed. From that point on, I was sold out for Jesus. Not long after, God brought a godly woman into my life, and Stacey and I were married in 2005. Together, we are committed to following wherever the Lord leads and serving Him faithfully.
Shortly after I was born again, God opened the door for me to begin ministering to those who are incarcerated. I started working with incarcerated youth, then later with adults in jails and prisons. I was ordained in 2008, but it wasn’t until many years later that I sensed God calling me to shepherd a church. Over the years, I’ve also had the opportunity to do mission work in Alaska, Central America, and Africa, but my heart remained with those behind bars. Although, Stacey and I always sensed there was still more to come.
In 2015, we became part of Calvary Chapel, and being introduced to expository teaching was truly life-changing. For us, it became the only way to study, learn, and teach God’s Word, verse by verse, chapter by chapter, book by book, taking in the full counsel of Scripture.
When God opened the opportunity for us to minister in Bedford, we knew it was Him. We’re honored and excited to be part of what He’s doing here, and we’re committed to teaching the Bible faithfully and helping others grow in a real, lasting relationship with Jesus.
